Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Vanu school van tracking application and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Description of Service

Vanu provides a school van tracking platform that enables guardians to monitor the real-time location of school vans transporting their children, receive notifications about trip status, and communicate with drivers. The Service includes mobile applications, web applications, and related services.

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you agree to the following:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian create an account on their behalf.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• To harass, abuse, or harm another person, including drivers or other users.
• To interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any other systems or networks.
• To impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of VANU and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including child information and location data. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

Location Services

The Service relies on GPS and other location technologies to provide real-time tracking. You acknowledge that location data may not always be accurate or available due to technical limitations, environmental factors, or device settings. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in location data or service interruptions.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. THE SERVICE IS A TRACKING TOOL AND DOES NOT REPLACE PROPER SUPERVISION OF CHILDREN OR DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH TRANSPORTATION PROVIDERS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VANU, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR INABILITY TO ACCESS THE SERVICE.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VANU and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time through the app settings.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VANU operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
